"Melissa Parish who is our agent at State Farm Insurance and our servicing agent for Florida Peninsula is Absolutely Amazing! She was a True Advocate in evaluating and managing my Wind Mitigation and Home Declarations report for our property with Florida Peninsula Insurance Company. I took part in the My Safe Florida Home (MSFH) Grant Program for Hurricane Windows being installed in my home. Upon completion and final inspections, it came time to submit back to MSFH all the paperwork and documents from Inspectors, Contractors, and Insurance Companies. Without the proper paper work, MSFH will NOT process your grant which in my case was $10K. I was getting pushback from MSFH on processing my Grant even though I provided everything they required. I reached out to Melissa to let her know what was going on. She was most concerned about this and Melissa always made herself available to me via phone or email correspondences. Net Net of things, MSFH was needing another documentation from my insurance provider which was an email stating the amount of discounts received, or that discounts will not be applied. Failure to provide this information will result in denial of grant reimbursement. Melissa provided this information immediately to me via email which I could send to MSFH. Was still getting pushback from MSFH even though I had provided Melissa's information to MSFH on 2 different occasions on their RFI response form and spoke numerous times with MSFH. Melissa and I were just stunned. Then, Melissa did the Most Amazing thing! She drafted this incredible, professional, and most detail letter I have ever seen. Clearly stating to MSFH what discounts were applied and what discounts were not and reminding MSFH how underwriting guidelines works. Less than 24hrs of me uploading that PDF letter to MSFH, my grant was approved for the $10K and MSFH stating I will have a check within three weeks!! If it were NOT for the Professionalism of Melissa, and her prompt attention and cooperation to this matter, things could of turned out differently. I am So Very Thankful for Melissa!
